FAQs

How do we begin?
Please get in touch whenever you’re ready to discuss your new kitchen! There are several ways we can proceed with the quoting process depending on your specific situation.
Do you remove the old kitchen?
Generally speaking, no, we don’t. However we have a great list of contacts that we’re happy to share with you to make the transition from old to new as smooth as possible.
Do you supply worktops and appliances?
Yes, absolutely. We detail these as separate elements of your quotation, and we supply drawings for your worktops so you’re empowered to arrange your own estimates too, so you can be sure our entire package offers you not only the best quality, but also a very competitive price.
Do you do plumbing and electrical work?
No, we don’t. Again, we have a great list of tradesmen that we’re happy to recommend.
Do you paint the cabinetry?
Yes! We’ve spent years perfecting the list of products we use to achieve a hand painted finish that is both durable and beautiful. During a workshop visit you’ll see the work involved in finishing our cabinetry. Be wary of anyone prepared to supply unpainted work!
Can we reuse appliances?
Of course! If you’ve a perfectly good, working appliance then we’ll be the first to suggest reusing it.
Will you instruct us on how to use our new appliances?
Our installation of the appliances only involves the physical installation into the cabinets. However, as technology has become more and more integral with the design of ovens, hobs, and all the other kitchen gadgets, then we can arrange for our appliance partners to come and visit you to provide a demonstration. This is a chargeable service, based on the appliances involved.
Do you take a deposit?
We ask for a 50% deposit prior to commencing works (payable following our pre-production survey), 30% once installation is booked, and the remaining 20% on completion. If we are supplying a kitchen for you to fit yourself, then we take a 50% deposit prior to commencing, and the balance a week prior to delivery.
What is your lead time?
From the point of an agreed design and a surveyable site the lead time is 8-12 weeks. “Surveyable site” will generally be floor screed laid, confirmation of finished floor build-up, and walls and ceiling plaster boarded.
How much do your kitchens cost?
Whilst nothing about our kitchens is ‘average’, an average-sized kitchen, with branded appliances, quartz worktops, and premium Armac Martin handles will cost in the region of £50,000 - £65,000 inclusive of design & manufacture, decoration & installation, and VAT. We’re confident that at this price point we offer the most bespoke, high quality product available, with faultless customer service.
Do you offer a guarantee?
As a small company, we trade off our past customer experiences. It is in our interest to maintain the reputation we have earned through years of responding to any potential issues that may arise in a quick and efficient manner. As such, we don’t have a written guarantee but for as long as you are the owner of your kitchen, we’ll tend to any issues you encounter (this is also testament to how confident we are in our quality!).
